Ghanaian actor and musician Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, has descended on renowned YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon for criticizing his new movie.
Lilwin recently invited three prominent Nigerian actors to feature in his latest movie, which has generated a lot of criticism. The actors were Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, and Victor Osuagwu, who all stared in “a country called Ghana.”.
Kwadwo Sheldon and Scanty have criticized the colour grading of the movie, among many other things, in their YouTube reviews. Lilwin was not pleased with the comments they made in the movie and has launched an attack on Kwadwo Sheldon, telling him to keep quiet if he can’t promote the movie rather than criticize it.
In a viral video spotted by Ghana Songs Graphics, Lilwin emphasized that it was only a trailer of the movie that has been made available for public consumption, and the full movie has not even been premiered yet, so he does not understand why the YouTuber has started speaking poorly of the movie.
He warned Kwadwo Sheldon to be careful and not use his platform to destroy a movie in which he had invested millions of Ghanaian dollars.
“Kwadwo Sheldon, after spending millions of dollars on my movie, you’ve decided to criticize the movie rather than inspire me or laud me for what I’ve done. I do not know what you guys think when you compare Ghana’s locations to the Americans who shoot movies in their rooms.
“Do you know the number of politicians and MPs who have called to congratulate me and motivate me to come up with more projects? But you decided to criticize it.
Which movie have you sat down to analyze and conclude that it is better than ‘A Country Called Ghana’? You should keep quiet if you can’t promote someone’s movie.
Be very careful. Do not provoke me. I’ll be back,” Lilwin said.
The movie is set to premiere on May 17th, 2024, at the National Theater in Accra; on May 25th, at the KNUST CCB Auditorium in Kumasi;; and on June 1st, at the Eusbette Hotel in Sunyani.
