Actor and musician Frank Naro has disclosed that Ghanaians should not blame Akuffo Addo for the power crisis we are facing at the moment but instead blame the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) for our predicaments.
In an interview with Cape Town-bbased property FM, Frank Naro revealed that the ECG is supposed to be blamed for the frequent power outages but not the president.
“In five years, I have had five best rapper nominations. I’m the only rapper in Ghana who has had five best rapper nominations in five years. And the funny aspect is that I’ve not been able to pick any of the awards.
“I’m not that bothered. I used to get bothered, but right now, I am hardened. My mind is coated like cement.
“Consider someone who, despite the economic challenges, manages to purchase prepaid electricity to conduct their business, only to find there’s no power to earn and cover their expenses.
“We implore them to take further action to ensure we have a consistent power supply across the nation,” Frank Naro explained.
The artist who was once in the news for his bid to run for parliamentary elections has set the president free in his speech. On that note, Vice-President and NPP’s Presidential candidate Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has assured Ghanaians of a stable power supply soon during his tour in Eastern Region.
