Trending Ghanaian artist Thomas Adjei Wireko, widely known as King Paluta, has revealed that singing has helped his music career more than rap. King Paluta, who came to the limelight with rap, has now switched to singing because he feels it has revealed his talent to Ghanaians more than rapping.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, monitored by Ghana Songs Graphics, King Paluta disclosed that singing has conferred the hero title on him more than rap because, looking at his music career, singing took him to Germany multiple times.
King Paluta, who is highly regarded for his “Aseda” hit song, stated that he was once asked at the airport, “Are you not the one who just went to Germany and is going back again??”?
He believes that continuing to sing would take his music career to the highest level as he has always wished for in life.
His “Yahitte” song and “Sika Aba fie” all put him on trend on many music platforms in the country. King Paluta has also secured four nominations for the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2024 and hopes to take some awards home.
The highly anticipated award for the singer is the Best New Artist of the Year, along with other awards at the most anticipated night in music.
King Paluta’s “Aseda” topped many music charts in Africa and made him very popular in Africa after he displayed his singing prowess.
