HEADLINE : ADELAIDE THE SEER HINTS ABOUT RELEASING A NEW SONG
Adelaide Naa Borley Bortier, popularly known as “Adelaide the seer”, is a talented and optimistic musician who spreads love and hope through her music.
She lost her sight while attending Ghanata Senior High School in Ghana.
Throughout her basic school years, Adelaide was involved in various activities such as flag hosting, drama, choir, and cadet at Vivibon School. She had always been known for her singing abilities, which she took
particular notice of at age 10 during school worship times. She was also a member of her church choir. Adelaide has released two songs so far, “What a God!” and “Wire Me,” in collaboration with Dope Nation.
She draws inspiration for her music from within herself and the stories of others. She writes with the intention of bringing hope and love to her listeners.
Adelaide didn’t plan on pursuing a career in music until a friend heard her voice and connected her to TV3, which did a documentary on her. From there, Dope Nation collaborated with her on her first two songs.
Despite being visually impaired, Adelaide is referred to as “The Seer” because she wants people to focus on her gift, not her disability.
She believes that true beauty lies within the mind and heart. In addition to music, Adelaide is gifted in poetry, acting, storytelling, and motivational speaking.
Her goal is to touch many lives with her gifts and spread hope to people. She takes joy in hearing stories of people who have found hope through her music, such as the 71-year-old stroke patient who began to walk while listening and singing along Adelaide’s worship ministration.
