Eugene Kwame Marfo, known on stage as Kuami Eugene, has disclosed some important secrets about his recent adjustment to English songs as compared to the previous version of himself. The love for HighLife music has been in the heart of the artist for quite some time, and he has quickly adjusted to English songs by virtue of his associate record label, Empire.

Kuami Eugene, in an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, indicated that the international record label requires him to compose more English songs, and he has been able to blend them with his local language. The artist said such a step has shaped him to deliver both locally and internationally, as his record labels always assess his songs to pick out the suitable ones for the market.

He revealed that after he submitted a total of 40 songs to his labels, they picked 13 out of them for his “Love & Chaos” album. “It’s a vibe from each side; there is a Kuami Eugene vibe; there is what Lynx wants as a record label; and there is what Empire wants as a bigger record label as well, you understand. So the three of us have to come together, myself as a creative, and the two of these bodies.” Kuami also talked about his great transformation from an amateur in music to a professional artist.
