Ghanaian hip-life artist Kwaw Kese has praised himself for being very useful to Ghana and our music industry. The artist said for more than a decade he has entertained Ghanaians with captivating songs spanning across the ethnicities of Ghana, and he has a very strong foundation in music. In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Kwaw Kese revealed that he has not received the massive accolades he deserves from the people and the government because he strongly believes that he has worked tirelessly in the Ghana music industry.
“I have been in the industry for 20 years; this year is my 20th year in the industry, and it has been a back-to-back thing. From releasing hit songs and bangers to performances yh I feel good. For ‘flowers’ I haven’t received enough, but to myself, I’m proud of myself,” he said.
The ‘Awoyo’ Sofo Hitmaker, who has been trending for his recent hit song and his intention to sue the government for about 1 million dollars for his arrest in 2015, is still hopeful of being honoured.
Kwaw Kese, who will be celebrating his 20 years in music, soon disclosed that the government should honour him as he deserves. ” I expect a lot, but you can’t have everything. I believe I deserve to be honoured nationally by the government. You know, when we came to the scene, it wasn’t the same as what we are seeing now, I came in and I changed everything. So I believe I deserve to be honored officially,” He said.
