Aseda” crooner King Paluta has made the shocking revelation that he started music before Sarkodie and Asem. On DJ Slim’s “The Street Is Watching,”  King Paluta revealed that he started before 2008, when Sarkodie and the Tema rappers blew up in music.

King Paluta has disclosed that he started rapping before Ghana heard of Sarkodie and the likes, which is a fact that he is saying. The artist has shown dynamism by switching from rap to singing, which, according to him, has helped his music career.

King Paluta revealed that he creates his own beat for most of his songs, including his “Aseda” and “Yahitte” hit songs.

The artist told DJ Slim that hunger compelled him to learn how to create beats, and it shows he started music a long time before many artists popped up.

King Paluta stated, “When I started, a lot of the boys were not on the street… I started music before Sarkodie. When Asem’s “Give Me Blow” blew up, I was already doing music.”

His statement has generated a lot of criticism for the artist; many people have doubted him, but in the meantime, he has gotten a lot of supporters defending him based on his words.

King Paluta has grabbed four solid nominations for the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards and looks forward to taking as many as he can home.

The favorite award many wish he picks up at the night is the Best New Artist of the Year award following his impressive music career within the year.
