King Promise and Stonebwoy were the favourite artists tagged for the ultimate award, TGMA Artiste of Year. Entertainment pundits and fans all predicted the winner of the category, but in the end, Stonebwoy walked home with the award that night.
There has been a lot of brouhaha surrounding that particular award, as many things King Promise was cheated upon, and the award board offered the prize to Stonebwoy.
After the award, Stonebwoy received a lot of congratulatory messages on social media for his victory that night, but one message that caught the attention of many was when King Promise also sent his congratulatory message.
Stonebwoy did not reply to King Promise’s message, and it became a topic of interest for many people across the country. However, in Stonebwoy’s recent interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, he explained that he does not hold any grudge against his brother King Promise.
Stonebwoy stated that not replying to his message meant no harm because King Promise is like a brother to him.
Reacting to the news, King Promise has revealed to Kwadwo Sheldon that he also does not hold any grudges against Stonebwoy, and he doesn’t know why his message was not replied to either.
“It’s really up to him. I don’t know why he did that, because I’m not a stranger to him.
“We’ve had conversations; we’ve had music together. I’ve done a song for his album; he’s done a song for my album, and he’s known me even before I blew up crazy,” King Promise said.
