Kojo Kurankye, known in music as Ras Kuuku, has lamented the fact that Kofi Kinaata took his verse off “Effiakumah Broken Heart” without informing him about anything.
The reggae/dancehall artist was very disappointed in Kofi Kinaata and his management for the treatment they meted out to him. In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Ras Kuuku disclosed that he was put on that song and did his verse on the song as well, but later his verse was taken off the song.
Ras Kuuku said he doesn’t know the series of events that led to the removal of his verse from the hit song, but he was still cool with it. Andy Dosty stepped in to say it could be that his verse was not fitting in the song or that it was better than Kofi’s own.
Ras Kuuku said it was after they released the song that they called him to give him some excuses that they could not include his song, and he said he was not bothered.
Ras Kuuku revealed that he was worried about the issue that happened but he has now overcome it. Andy Dosty also disclosed that he (Ras Kuuku) is open to any future collaborations on the song, but Ras Kuuku showed no interest in it.
In a viral video spotted by Ghanasongs Graphics, Kofi Kinaata reacted to the accusations on him, saying he did not know Ras Kuuku’s verse was taken off until his manager told him.
